Which group fits which teacher?
- Government school teachers (ESE/SSE/PST and equivalents): Pak Education for peer discussion on transfers, promotions and pay revisions; an education-news group for department notices.
- Job seekers and fresh graduates: the Sindh Govt Jobs And education Information group – despite the name it posts adverts from across Pakistan, including teaching posts.
- Teachers upgrading qualifications: the AIOU group – useful for B.Ed, M.Ed and ADE workshop dates, assignment deadlines and result news.
- Private school teachers and tutors: the news groups are the most useful for board exam date sheets and school timing notices.
Teacher groups vs student groups vs news groups
A lot of links sold as “teachers groups” on directory sites are actually student notes groups (9th–12th class, FSc, MDCAT). Those are fine for students but add noise for a teacher. On this page, discussion groups are for educators talking to each other, news groups mostly forward circulars and notifications, and the jobs group is advert-only. WhatsApp groups are fast, but they repeat adverts that were first published officially. Before applying, check the source:
- Punjab: School Education Department notifications and PPSC advertisements for lecturer and subject-specialist posts.
- Sindh: School Education & Literacy Department; recent teacher hiring tests have been conducted through IBA Sukkur.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Elementary & Secondary Education Department, with tests through ETEA.
- Federal (Islamabad): FDE and FPSC advertisements.
Red flags in teacher WhatsApp groups
- “Guaranteed appointment” or “transfer through contact” for a payment.
- “Leaked” test papers for PPSC, IBA or ETEA teacher tests.
- Links that ask you to enter your CNIC or bank details on a non-government site to “apply”.
- “Earn online without investment” forwards – common spam in education groups; ignore and report.
How we checked these links
On 28 September 2026 we opened every invite link previously on this page plus teacher and education links from several Pakistani group directories. For each one we read the group name WhatsApp shows before joining. We dropped links that were revoked (no name shown), that opened a different topic, or that belonged to student-only, earning-scheme or crypto groups. We don’t publish member counts because WhatsApp doesn’t show them until you join.

Start with Pak Education (the Males or Females section, whichever applies to you) for peer discussion, then add one news group such as Education News 23 for circulars. If you are applying for government teaching posts, add the Sindh Govt Jobs And education Information group for job ads. That combination covers discussion, notices and vacancies without flooding your phone.

On 28 September 2026 we opened every link that was on this page and every teacher-related link on the directories we searched. Most were revoked or turned out to be something else – one card labelled as a teachers community actually opened an English-speaking chat. We kept only the 6 whose live group name matched what they claim to be.
❓ Is a WhatsApp message about a teaching vacancy official?
No. Treat it as an alert only. Punjab teaching posts are announced by the School Education Department and PPSC, Sindh teacher hiring tests have run through IBA Sukkur, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa uses ETEA. Confirm the advert, fee and last date on the official website before you apply or pay anything.
❓ Someone in a teachers group is asking for a fee to guarantee a job or transfer. What should I do?
Do not pay. Paid job placement, guaranteed transfer or leaked test paper offers are a common scam in education groups. Real government recruitment only charges the test fee printed in the official advertisement, paid through the channel named there. Report the message to the group admin and leave if it continues.
❓ Can private school teachers and home tutors join?
Yes. Nothing in these groups is limited to government employees. Private school teachers mostly use them for lesson ideas, exam schedule news and job openings; home tutors use them to follow board exam dates.
